I purchased 1 set of 2- 4x4 Scrapbook Page Clipboards to check on the quality. I like this product. In fact, I like these so much, I regret not purchasing a few more packages.

Here is a "Special Cat Friend" 4x4 Clipboard I made.



The clipboards I received are made of nice hardboard or masonite. When I opened the package and took them out, I was happy to discover that they are firm and sturdy. The clips are strong and securily attached. They are painted a distressed matte white - more like a paint primer, actually.

I used Staz-on ink and the black journaling marker (because the journaling marker ink is permanent) to color the clipboard and clip a nice neutral black. Coloring the clipboard with Lumiere would work if you'd like a nice pearly-white color.

The 4 by 4 Scrapbook page and the colored ribbon attached to the clip can be changed seasonally or by theme. When I decide to change the page, I mount the old 4 by 4 page as an element on a larger scrapbook page.

I use this clipboard as a decorative item on my bulletin board at my office cubicle. It makes my work area pretty. My dear husband also pointed out that I can super-glue a magnet to the back and put it on our refrigerator door.
